Weekly staff COVID surveys are conducted to aid in contact tracing.
HYC clubhouse is cleaned after every shift.
HYC staff is encouraged to practice social distancing and other behavioral safety measures while at home and during off-work hours.

Swimming pool status
The HYC swimming pool is still closed and under construction. The contractor reports good progress is being made. They should be applying the new plaster coating in the next week. The noisy work is finished for now. It’s safe to return for lunch and dinner!

Bar status
The new floor tile, bar top, sinks, and fixtures are installed and in service.
The bar is operational and ready for your enjoyment, so come by and have a look! Or better yet, have Carl, Don or Eric create something special for you to enjoy on the Ocean Lanai. The Club is a perfect spot for an afternoon getaway!
We still have some shelving and lighting to install, but that will not impact your enjoyment.
I spoke with Glenn Severance, the furniture builder that is creating our new bar stools earlier today. http://www.koafurniture.com/ Glenn tells me the wood is out of the kiln and he will be building our stools this week. The new stools should be ready to pick up the second week in July. The new bar stools will be handmade works of art that set the new standard of quality for your Club. Yes, they are being made to the correct height. In the interim, the old bar stools will be used. Glenn assures me the new custom made stools will be worth the wait!

Looking forward to seeing you soon at your Club!

Chuck and all the HYC staff.
